| Cool Shooz has been entertaining
Colorado crowds for over ten years, since their beginnings as The Fabulous
Fairlanes. Their a cappella rock and roll has twice won them the Denver Regional
Harmony Sweepstakes, and they have opened for acts as diverse as Marvin Hamlisch
and Firefall. With the addition of newcomer Marc Johnson, the group is
exploring new avenues of vocal expression, and pushing the traditional
boundaries of the genre.

Dutch Miller- Dutch is a Denver-born musician, actor, teacher and
businessman. He lives and works in Golden with his wife and two children.
Above all, he is committed to the human voice as the most beautiful
instrument of all, and harmony as a way of life.

| Joe Sanford- Joe holds a degree in Music Education from Colorado State University, and teaches in the Adams County school system. He is also a veteran performer who has sung with a number of Denver area bands. His soulful, powerful delivery and dynamic stage presence means he is in high demand, and we are lucky to have him! |

| Tom
Connor- Tom graduated from the
University of Colorado with a Bachelors Degree in Music. He’s a
multitalented individual performing with various groups around the Denver
metro area. Besides singing and performing as vocal percussionist with
Cool Shooz a cappella, Tom performs with the classic rock /blues band
Perfect
Strangers. His first solo CD release entitled Steel Rocks featured Tom
performing all instruments from guitars and vocals to drums, keyboard and
bass. His passion for jazz and blues has been reflected throughout his
career having spent time as percussionist with the blues band Connie and the Cadillacs. Tom also has a Masters degree in Business and Administration
from the University of Colorado at Denver. Look for his second CD

| Marc
Johnson- Marc is the latest
addition to Cool Shooz, arriving with a storied background in vocal
expression. His experiences include years of performing with high school and
professional chorales, with tours throughout the U.S. and Taiwan.
Former group involvements include Chosen Few, Iliff Avenue Hi-Tones, and the award-winning 5th Harmony, who were privileged to open for M-pact twice in one week. He has appeared as guest tenor with various choirs throughout the Denver area including the Alpine Chorale, Augustana Lutheran Chancel Choir, and at Ave Maria Catholic Church. A recent vocal performance graduate of Colorado Christian University, Marc served as Associate Student Conductor of the University Choir under David N. Wallis. Prior to joining Cool Shooz, Marc served as Artistic Director of CCU Vocal Jazz Ensemble.

| Jeff
King-
Jeff has been singing a
cappella in Denver for seventeen years, first with The Diners and
presently with Cool Shooz, a
group he joined in 1996. As a member of these groups he has opened for the
likes of Ray Charles, Kevin Pollack, The Persuasions, Firefall and The Bobs,
and sung for thousands of music lovers nationwide at festivals, concerts,
nightclubs, and competitions. In his spare time, Jeff performs with his own band Cut to the Chase, and also does solo shows in clubs, churches, and retirement centers. In 1993 he released “Boogie Woogie Boogeyman”, a recording of children’s music, and in 1998 released an all-original CD entitled “This One Life”. Dave Small- Dave is a classically trained tenor from Denver, CO. After singing for six seasons with Opera Colorado and directing an adult choir, he founded Cool Shooz as a way to get back to his Rock n’ Roll roots. In his other life, Dave is the Director of Vocal Music at West Middle School in Cherry Creek. He also restores early Volkswagens, so let him know if you have any old VW parts lying around your garage!
